Overseas Supporters Membership - 23/24
Following our promotion to the professional ranks of the EFL back in May 2021 Sutton United's profile as a football club has long since extended beyond our traditional locality, and the national profile when in the National League. With regular appearances on international television packages under EFL contracts, and indeed an appearance at Wembley in our first season in the league, the Club now has a growing number of international followers and supporters. Today the Club is happy to announce the launch of a new Overseas Supporters' Club which embraces this growing army of Amber fans across the globe with offers of a range of benefits.
In addition to the ability to watch your favourite club without the restrictions of the domestic television contract, via the EFL's iFollow platform, members of our Overseas Supporters' Club are also entitled to 2 free tickets per season to watch the U's when they return to or visit the UK. For those visiting the Club and VBS for the first time they can book a free tour of the stadium on matchday.
It is anticipated that members will receive Club information and exclusive content from both the Club and the heads of supporters clubs to be established in each of the many countries where we have a following. Ragnar Olufsen, a long standing supporter and recent visitor to the VBS for the Notts County game (see here) has agreed to be the Head of the Overseas Supporters Club, and represents fans in Norway, and we have already received indications from Denmark and Japan of willing ambassadors representing their country too.
Membership of this new exciting initiative is free and now open and applications can be made here (see link to ticket page), requiring only the setting up of your account and your email address for Club offers.
